Legacy & Planned Giving

Leave a Lasting Impact That Grows

When you include The Farm Collaborative in your long-term giving plans, you plant seeds of change that will nourish our community for generations.

Why Your Legacy Matters

  • Educate Future Stewards: Expand children and teen programs that build lifelong relationships with land and food
  • Advance Regenerative Agriculture: Support practices that heal soil, foster biodiversity, and draw down carbon
  • Strengthen Community Resilience: Improve local food systems and support food security for all

Your legacy is more than a gift—it’s a commitment to a thriving, regenerative future.

Ways to Leave a Legacy

Including The Farm Collaborative in your will or trust is one of the most meaningful ways to support our mission. You can designate a dollar amount, percentage of your estate, or a specific asset.

You can name The Farm Collaborative as a beneficiary of a retirement account (like an IRA or 401(k)), life insurance policy, or bank account. It’s a simple form you can complete without changing your will.

Receive fixed income for life while supporting the farm. After your lifetime, the remainder of your gift helps fund education, soil regeneration, and community programs.

Support your loved ones and the land. With a charitable remainder trust, you or your beneficiaries receive income for life or a term of years. What remains then goes to The Farm Collaborative.

Create or contribute to an endowed fund that sustains programs year after year. The principal is invested and only the earnings are used—providing reliable, lasting support.

A gift of land or property can support our mission while possibly offering tax advantages. Some donors even gift future interest in property, retaining use during their lifetime.
