Our Story Impact

Founded in 2008 by Eden Vardy, The Farm Collaborative has evolved to a multi-purpose regenerative farm, camp, school, and resource center for the local community and farmers. We proudly serve central western Colorado, with a focus on the Roaring Fork Valley. The Farm Collaborative has inspired and motivated 1000s of kids and adults through summer camps and other educational opportunities about where their food comes from and how to be a part of it.

Mission

To grow a regenerative local food system where the health of people and the planet comes first.

How? Through education, community connection, food production and farmer support.

Vision

We envision a resilient food system grounded in connection, access, and joy—where children learn from the land, farmers thrive, and communities gather around food.

Core Values

Connection

We believe that connection to others and the natural world around us gives us a shared sense of meaning and purpose.

Collaboration

We believe in the power of people working together.

Stewardship

We care for people, land, and relationships as living systems to be nurtured, not extracted from and aim to leave every place, person, and program stronger than we found it.

Integrity

We act with transparency, follow through on commitments, and build trust through humility and accountability.

JOY

We delight in nature’s abundance, celebrate everyday moments, and embrace the playful, nourishing spirit of working with land, food, and community.

optimism

We stay solution-focused and future-minded, drawing strength from nature’s resilience and the belief that regeneration is always possible.

We believe humans are a keystone species—not a plague on the planet, but an essential part of nature. Through regenerative agriculture, we reclaim this role: caring for our own health while restoring the land around us. When people and the planet thrive together, everyone benefits.
