
The 2Forks Club provides zero-interest loans to farmers and food entrepreneurs who are strengthening a healthy local food system in the Roaring Fork, Colorado River Basin, and North Fork Valleys. Farm Continuum offers resources and guidance on many aspects of farming — take a look.

Applications open September 23 and are due by mid-October. We encourage you to call Eden Vardy at (970) 379-2323 to discuss your idea before submitting.
Our review committee will evaluate loan applications and make recommendations to the 2Forks Club members. Recommended selectees will be invited to present to our membership, and members will vote on funding decisions afterward.

Loan recommendations will be prioritized based on:
- Greatest impact on our local food economy
- Regenerative land practices
- Reputation in the community
We are open to considering applicants that would otherwise have a difficult time finding funding.

Support Our Local Foodshed
Raise, source, process and sell food within the foodshed of the Roaring Fork Valley and North Fork Valley, and Colorado River basin from Glenwood Springs to Palisade
Regenerate Soil
Farms or food businesses dedicated to regenerating soil, using sustainable (organic, biodynamic, agro-ecological, zero-pollution and other) practices
Champion Diversity
Businesses growing and supporting a diversity of local food crops and diversity amongst business leaders
Strengthen Community
Farms and food businesses considered vital to building a local food economy, and keeping resources within the community
Practice Financial Responsibility
Businesses using sound financial practices, demonstrating well-planned financial projections, and demonstrating low risk of failure
Lead with Mission
Enterprises dedicated to building and scaling all the parts of building a local food economy, such as education, environmentally beneficial practices, and support of other local businesses, families and community organizations
