Summer Nature Experiences
for Ages 1o-13
Join our Teens & Tweens Summer Programs for Ages 10-14
Through nature connection and mentoring, older campers begin to take an active role in caring for our animals, tending to garden spaces, and helping staff with projects around the FarmPark.
All while experiencing curiosity led, wild play and exploration.

Participants will learn the basics of growing their own food, raising animals, harvesting wild food from nature, preserving goods, making handcrafted products, cooking, learning survival skills, activism, and generally learning how to steward the earth. Campers will develop skills to become young leaders of a healthier future for our community and the planet.
Spring Startup
Initial sessions will focus on identifying basic wild foods, prepping and planting a garden, caring for young animals, and basic food preserving techniques.
Getting Growing
Midsummer sessions will focus on cultivating, continued planting and garden/farming care and maintenance, nurturing the farmyard animals, identifying and understanding basic wild foods and food preserving techniques. Discover more about how to feed our community, run a market booth and create your own products and crafts from the lands bounty. Experience the farm as it bursts to life in early summer glory.
July Gathering
Deep Summer sessions will focus on harvesting and wildcrafting what we gather, tending and caring for our planted plot, and rotating animals in the pasture, creating products, planning and managing weekly farmers’ market booths.
End of Summer Season
Our in-depth August sessions will focus on all aspect of planting and gardening, as well as exploring our wild food systems. Enjoy the bounty of the wild plants from the farm in full growth, harvesting, fermenting, and preserving cultivated crops and fruits from around the valley, farmers’ market booth opportunities for sales and homemade product creation.

Aprendizaje Ecologico
Sesiónes
Usando las plantas silvestres y el arte salvaje, los cultivos de las verduras, la cría de animales, la preservación de alimentos, y los artes culinarios para inspirar líderes jóvenes y conscientes.
Plantar Primavera
Durante esa sesión enfocamos en la identificación básica de las plantas silvestres, la preparación y siembra de un huerto, el cuidado de animales recién nacidos, y la preservación básica de los alimentos.
Acopio de Julio
Durante esa sesión enfocamos en la cosecha y el arte salvaje con lo que recolectamos, la cuida del jardín, y rotar los animales en el apacentadero.
Verano
Durante esa sesión nos enfocamos en cosechar, fermentar, preservar, cocinar, y disfrutar la abundancia de las plantas silvestres y los cultivos que hay en nuestro valle.
