Summer 2023 Earth Keepers Educator

 

We are growing our team!

The Farm Collaborative is now accepting applications for a Lead Educator to join our Earth Keepers summer day camp staff. We are looking for a kind, supportive, self-directed leader to work with campers ages 5-11 years old.

At Earth Keepers “We are growing a better world for our children and better children for our world.” Guided by nature, our 10-week summer camp program provides children of all ages with hands-on fun at our unique half-acre “FarmPark” of outdoor gardens and greenhouses.

Application Instructions

Please attach a copy of your current resume which includes your education and employment history, as well as three reference - one that can vouch for your positive attitude, work ethic, or any prior farming experience (an advisor or prior employer).

Additionally, please answer the following questions: 

  1. What main aspects of becoming a summer environmental camp educator inspired you to apply for this position?

  2. Why do you want this position? Please describe your personal and/or professional goals, and how this position is helpful or relevant. Please include a bit about your relationship with environmental education and your interest in working with our valley’s youth. 

  3. What would be your tentative start and end dates? What other obligations will you have during the 12week summer season?
